Norton 360 not updating
How do I get Live Update to update automatically so I no longer have to update manually? Hello, I'm using Norton 360 Verson 220.127.116.11 on Windows 7 (64-bit PC).Since installed, Live Update has been updating automatically without any manual updating. This morning (September 11, 2012) I am getting the following message when I click on the PC Security section of the dashboard: Definitions Updated: Not Available I now have to manually update Live Update (in the Tasks section) to get up to date definitions. On the Antispyware and Updates tab make sure Automatic Live Updates and Pulse updates are set to On. All settings you mentioned are ON (I should have mentioned that in my original post) . Norton 360 is used on a laptop that goes into sleep mode when not used for a while - that has never affected Live Update and automatic updates before though.
Please wait for 24 hours and then run Live Update again.Live Update downloads these updates automatically, and often by the time you run Live Update again, the updates will be installed successfully. If the virus definitions of your Norton are out of date, you can use Intelligent Updater to update it.This program checks for installed Norton products and automatically guides you to the correct product download page with further instructions. No personal information will be collected or sent to Symantec during this process.
I'm using Windows XP and my subscription is still valid.
